About
Built by operators, not slide decks.
The Email Forge was founded in December 2024 by Hammad Saeed and Mohammed Okashah to do retention properly: open the account, find what’s broken, fix the fundamentals, own the result.
The story
Thirteen years in uniform. Then this.
For 13 years I served as an officer in the Pakistan Army. I held the rank of Major. In 2017, still in uniform, I started teaching myself to run ads at night. In 2019 the first few dollars landed from a client on the other side of the world, and the cage I thought I was in suddenly had a door.
I spent the next five years building a freelance practice into a top-rated operation while finishing my service. In December 2024 I founded The Email Forge with Mohammed Okashah to do retention properly: open the account, find what’s broken, fix the fundamentals, own the result. No theatre. That’s the whole method.
Discipline is the transferable skill. Not the aesthetic of it, the practice: check the fundamentals first, report what you find, hold the standard when nobody’s watching. It turns out email accounts respond to that the same way everything else does.

What we hold ourselves to
Three rules, enforced.
01
Don’t claim a standard you’re not holding.
The industry runs on dashboard-inflated ROI and guaranteed multiples nobody collects on. We will never show you a number we wouldn’t stand behind in your own dashboard.
02
Honest expectations as policy, not garnish.
Conservative projections, monthly rolling contracts, no lock-in. We would rather be honest on the front end than sell you a fantasy and walk it back later.
03
Fundamentals before flash.
The first unlock is not send more. The first unlock is clean the base, fix the leaks, cut waste, then build. Everything compounds from there.
The team
Founders on every account. A full bench behind them.
It’s not like we are onboarding new clients all the time. All our clients are handpicked, and either Hammad or Mohammed is on every call.
Strategy and diagnosis
Hammad leads the audits, the strategy docs, and the client relationship. What gets promised is what he’d defend in your dashboard.
Retention engineering
Mohammed owns the Klaviyo build: flows, segmentation logic, integrations, QA. The systems half of the name.
Design and copy
Two dedicated designers per account plus copywriters who work from your brand voice, not a template library.
Client success
A dedicated CSM per account, daily Slack access, weekly reporting. On Slack, we’re usually faster than the agency down the street.
Where we work
Remote-first. Built for US DTC brands.
A distributed team across time zones, which in practice means your account gets worked while you sleep. Clients are primarily US-based, with past work in the UK and Australia.
If retention is a priority, we should talk.
We keep the client list short and handpicked. The audit tells both of us whether this is worth doing.
